![]() ![]() “Three Problems” will be released on Tuesday, Feb. “Black Clover” episode 121 will also explain that Asta’s horns have a deeper meaning about his source of anti-magic while Julius reiterates that their second and third problem could both happen.įortunately, there will not be a hiatus before the airing of “Black Clover” episode 121, even though it marks the start of a new story arc. Their country could be destroyed in an attack of a foreign kingdom, which Asta suspects could be the Diamond Kingdom. The other problem is that Julius sees into the future that the Clover Kingdom is under threat. This prompts Yami to make fun of Asta as Julius’ predictions are rarely wrong while acting disgusted at Asta for being linked to a Devil. At this point, Asta confirms that he does feel muscle pains after excessively using his anti-magic abilities. Julius predicts in “Black Clover” episode 121 that Asta is going to die due to his anti-magic, which the Wizard King confirms is coming from a Devil as well. The second and third problems are related and could both happen. The first problem is going to be the lack of Wizard King - Julius points out in “Black Clover” episode 121 that he was not able to fully restore his grimoire while the nobles’ leadership is under question. Once Julius returns to the Clover Kingdom with Yami, he summons Asta, Secre, Noelle, and Mimosa to inform them about the three problems following their battle with the Devil and the reincarnated elves. There is a catch in his resurrection, though, as the storing magic tool Swallowtail and his Time Magic was only able to restore his younger physical form. ![]() One of the biggest surprises in “Black Clover” episode 121 is the return of Julius. ‘Black Clover’ episode 121 spoilers: Julius Novachrono is alive and announces three problems Julius Novachrono is going to revive himself, but he returns to the Clover Kingdom bearing bad news, three to be exact, which explains the episode title “Three Problems.” Instead, he turned into a chibi self with far lesser mana than Julius in his prime.Someone very important is literally coming back from the dead in “Black Clover” episode 121. He had, unfortunately, not collected enough magic to start immediately from where he had paused. This time-reversal kicked in when he “died” in his battle against Patolli. In case something happened to him, the system would activate, allowing him to start again. He did so by a mark on his forehead.įor 13 years, fractions of his Time Magic got collected in the Swallowtail. ![]() He realized that he could store bits of his mana over the years in the Swallowtail and connect it to his body. The article was a Swallowtail, as he found out from old books at the castle. Coincidentally, his magic was also compatible with this item. In one of his many idle incognito travels, Julius had come across a fascinating item lying unused but with potential. He had created many items to store magic along with his companion, Secre (or as we know her, Nero). The first Wizard King, Lemiel, was very fond of making magic items to eliminate mana inequality amongst humans themselves as well as between the humans & elves. Have a headache understanding how? Let me tell you. Julius Novachrono survived or ‘came back to life’ thanks to his time magic and the mana that he had stored in the Swallowtail. Julius give Yami his determination and us our tears back!īut one thing is sure, it truly had been a great loss of narrative potential to lose Julius. He really had us in the first half, didn’t he? I was as shocked as Yami and William were. Patolli took this vulnerable moment and used a sword to land the last hit. Julius had two choices, either save himself or save millions of people.Īnd, of course, he chose the latter and cast a counterspell. He cast a spell that quite literally made a sword dangle atop every Clover Kingdom citizen. When Patolli noticed that Julius was always preoccupied with not hurting others rather than attacking him, he gave Julius his second handicap. Thus, he also felt responsible for saving any further casualties. He was also responsible for bringing William to a dais where he could control power and lend it to Patolli. The first handicap that made it easier for Patolli to overpower Julius and restrict the latter to just defense despite having powerful magic was that Julius did not want to hurt the body of his old comrade & friend, William. ![]()
